From Bury St. Edmunds - A14 (from M11 direction)
Carry on past Bury St Edmunds on A14 and about 6 miles along, take the left hand exit that is signposted Stowmarket and Haughley off the A14. At the roundabout, take the first exit signposted Haughey and take the next right (cross the road) signposted Haughley. Continue along this road, through the village of Haughley, round a rather sharp bend to the right with the pub King's Head still on your right. After about a mile, go over a humpback bridge. Continue along this road, carry straight on through Haughley Green and Bacton. Go through village of Bacton, under the low railway bridge to the B1113 T- junction. Turn right, then first left into Parkers Road, continue until you reach a crossroads. Go straight over this into Brook House Road and follow narrow road keeping left until Coda Cottages are found on right. (approx ½ mile from crossroads).
From A140 North
Take right turn at Stoke Ash White Horse pub, go down slight hill with Four Horseshoes pub on your right. Continue along this road and take second left signposted to Cotton. Continue along this very windy road and the 2nd left is signposted to Dandy Corner. (this second left turning is at least one mile away from the first.) Continue round at least three corners, past some houses and Coda Cottages are on the left after 600 metres.
From A140 South
Turn left at the signpost to Mendlesham. Make sure it is the right one, you have to go past the mast (on your right) and the Chilli Farm (on your left). At the turning is also a green sign advertising the pub The Fleece in Mendlesham. Left at T junction, go through Mendlesham, (past the church and fish and chip shop). After leaving the village having gone round tight double bend, take first left signposted to Cotton, a mile later pass Cotton church on left. Go past the houses on your right and take the first right into Brook House Road and follow narrow road keeping left until Coda Cottages are found on right. (approx ½ mile from crossroads).
From A12 - from M25 direction
Turn left at roundabout signposted to Ipswich/Bury St Edmunds. Stay on A14 past Ipswich and past Stowmarket. Just past Stowmarket, take exit off the A14 signposted Haughley/Stowmarket/Wetherden. Turn right at the first roundabout, take first left off second roundabout. Take right hand exit (cross the road) to Haughley. Continue along this road, through the village of Haughley, round a rather sharp bend to the right with the pub King's Head still on your right. After about a mile, go over a humpback bridge.
